Intersections are a great place to regroup and take a breath when walking your dogs.  In the photo, Zoey takes time to check if Olive is having a Wonderful Wednesday.

At every intersection, have your dog Sit and Stay.  Walk to the end of the leash, then give your dog the release command and recall your dog.  Give your dog praise, Heel, and continue walking.
