On Day 4 of Maverick’s Board & Train, we open the front door and give Maverick an opportunity to observe the outdoors.  He is allowed to bark if someone comes up to our property but must stop once we tell him to.  He is not allowed to bark at the neighbor’s cat across the street.  Way to go, Maverick!

It has been hard for all of us to Shelter in Place, and dogs are no different.  Remember to enjoy the sunshine!  Bundle up and sit out front with your dog and a cup of hot tea.  It will be refreshing for your mind & spirit, and you can consider it a training session with your dog.  Too easy for your dog?  Park your car somewhere and hang out at a safe distance to people watch with your four-legged friend.  You can park at the grocery store and imagine what people are making for dinner. LOL
