Odin wants you to seriously consider bringing your dog to the Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival this weekend.
What better way to train your dog for awesome summer trips with your family than by taking small steps at the Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival? It’s close to home so figure out how to travel with your dog in the car safely on a trip and when to take your dog aside at the event to go potty (being mindful of where the garbage cans are). Practice declining people politely if your pup isn’t ready to be petted. Practice having your dog walk next to you on a short leash and sit beside you as you shop at each booth.
The festival is free and pretty much all day so bring your kids first and then go back and bring the dog if that’ll be an easier way to manage things.
