Foxtails are barbed seed heads that can embed in a dog’s skin, ears, nose, and paws.  They can lead to serious non-dissolving infections.  Please keep your dog safe on walks by being aware of anything on your trail.  Keep your dog heeling next to you so you can watch what they sniff and rub your hands or comb through your dog’s fur at the end of each walk.
