Bear is about 8 months old, and everything is new to him. A 30-minute walk around the block can be quite eventful! The first street had a family piling into a van for a trip.  Bear had to work on Sit Stay until all the kids crossed the sidewalk and jumped into the van.  The next street had workers trimming trees.  Bear would jump and try to run away from the loud wood-chipping machine.  Before walking from the third street to the fourth, we worked on impulse control and walked around the intersection.  By the time he realized that we were walking back to his house, we had to really work on Heel because he pulled and couldn’t wait to go back to his safe home.
