If you let your dog roam freely in your neighborhood, then you won’t be able to immediately pick up their waste which could call for a City citation & upset neighbors.  More importantly, allowing your dog to roam freely is hazardous to your pet because neighbors are tending to their lawns.  Keep your dog off grass with fertilizer, pesticides, or herbicides.  These chemicals are toxic if ingested and can also irritate your dog’s skin and paws.
