The weather is getting nice and it’s time to take the dogs out on family trips!
Start by attending this Saturday’s Earth Day in Modesto. A+ Dog Training won’t be there, but it’s a nice, local event where you can practice bringing your dog. If they get too overwhelmed, that’s okay! At least you showed up and gave it a try. Think about what you could do to make things easier (e.g. the car ride there, taking them to potty before entering the park, keeping them close to you, and allowing them to Sit Stay and observe everything at a distance).
Then don’t forget to bring your dog to the Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival on the last weekend in April. A+ Dog Training will be there with a booth and bowl of water for your dogs.
On May 4th is A+ Dog Training’s Free Community Pack Walk! This will be our final 10 a.m. walk. The summer months will start at 9 a.m.
