A+ Dog Training’s Kindergarten class is a five-week obedience course for puppies one year and younger (fully vaccinated) to work on obedience around other distractions.  At the end of each class, there is a twenty-minute play time where owners learn what good play and bad play is and how to supervise their puppy’s play manners.  This class is usually combined with private training sessions at their home before taking Kindergarten and one additional class.  This way, the owner’s goals are successfully achieved.  Boundaries and eliminating bad behaviors are first worked on at the puppy’s home, as well as some obedience training.  Usually the puppy’s owners’ primary goals are for their pup to stop chewing, barking, nipping, chasing, and pottying in the house.  A+ Dog Training helps owners establish a calm and peaceful home with their “adorable terror”. 🙂  Then when the puppy is a little more mature, Kindergarten & Elementary classes help their pup learn more manners out in public and focus more on their owners.  Our Calm Canine program usually lasts for about four and half months, depending on the owners’ work/life schedule and their puppy’s attention span.  If you are thinking about training your puppy to be a well-rounded best friend, please call us at 209-985-7898 to schedule a free consultation where we can develop a strategy that’s right for your family and your pup.
