Due to COVID-19, we had to reduce the size of our classes to a maximum of 5 dogs at the beginning of June. We were fortunate to have 5 dogs from both April & May’s Elementary classes that needed to be rescheduled. These five particular dogs need a lot more help NOT reacting to other dogs. So, in this customized class, the dogs are spaced out far enough that they are comfortable and not barking, lunging, or whining. As each week progresses, the class moves closer together. In this photo, the class is working on walking between dogs – spaced as though they were across the street. The dogs that are waiting for their turn to walk are working on keeping their focus on their owner and not reacting to the dog walking.
