Sometimes a flat collar is not the best tool to use for training.  Maggie is very muscular and strong.  With just a flat collar on, she’ll continuously pull, choke, and drag her owners causing them to fall.  We always start training a dog with a flat collar but will switch to a different training collar that will work best for them.  Usually a training collar is temporary until the dog understands what the owners are wanting and how to walk on a leash without pulling and lunging.
