With shorter daylight hours, it’s possible that you’ll start walking your dog during the dark. This means that you’ll be less visible to cars. Most of the time, those cars are preoccupied with holiday shopping and errands, or are rushing to get home from a stressful day at work. Be sure to limit the distance on your dog’s leash and keep them next to you as you walk. Dress your pup with a bright, reflective collar or jacket. Lights are always a practical and fun way to walk in the dark.
Be safe on your walks with your dog. A+ Dog Training doesn’t just love your dogs…we love you too!
