Drax is looking back to cooler temperatures!

Here are some tips to keep your dog cool and safe this summer:

• Provide plenty of fresh water inside and outside of the house.
• Keep in mind that shade moves.  Make sure that your dog has shade throughout the day when staying outdoors.
• Frequent cool baths and brushing can help your dog’s coat keep them cool.  Taking your dog to the groomer’s for a summer cut is also helpful.
• The pavement, sand, and inside the car are hotter than you think!
