One of our rest stops while traveling to SoCal was Petco. It was so hot that Tom carried Ammo through the parking lot until we entered the store. We were able to stretch our legs and walk around the cool store. They had a bowl of water by the human bathrooms and drinking fountains. And…Ammo found a new toy!
Once tired of fetching the ball, he fetches his new Dodgers bat. Yes! He still plays fetch but his game is more like a senior league softball game. LOL There’s definitely no running to catch the ball anymore. And when he stops to rest and chew on the toy, we call it his seventh-inning stretch!
