Every Dog Needs One Human

Don’t forget that at A+ Dog Training’s Community Pack Walks, each person should only be handling one dog at any time.  So, if you have three dogs that you’d like to bring on our walk, just make sure that you have two other people to handle each non-retractable leash.  We do this because there have been forty dogs and twice as many humans so our pack can get excited!  😊  Everyone joins us to either meet new people, socialize their dogs near or kind of far away from other dogs, and to work on dog obedience training.

Whatever your reason is, we hope you can make it tomorrow at 10:00 A.M. at CSUS in Turlock.  We meet at the corner of Monte Vista Ave. & Crowell Rd.

Don’t forget bags for waste!  Tom will looking for them.

Puppy Social This Saturday at 2:00 P.M.

Ellie would like to remind everyone to take a break from their puppy this Saturday and bring them to A+ Dog Training’s Puppy Social from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Taylor ER Veterinary in Turlock.

This is a time when your puppy gets to release some of their energy by playing with other pups.  Think you’re the only one getting chewed on or tired of taking your puppy out to go potty every hour?  Meet other puppy owners and share your stories!

Cost is $25 per puppy or free with Taylor ER Veterinary’s Standard Puppy Plan.

Jellybean Likes Water During Recess

It’s getting warmer so it’s time to take your dogs to A+ Dog Training’s Free Community Pack Walk.

We take lots of potty and rest breaks for so that everyone could catch up.  It’s also a great time to meet new people.  Just remember to ask if you could approach before getting too close to an unfamiliar dog.  Some people bring water for their dogs.  Once summer hits, our Labrador will be bringing water and a bowl in his backpack for all of the dogs.

Please visit our calendar of events for this Saturday, February 10th for more details.  See you there!

Wide Open Sidewalks for the Doggos

Stan State in Turlock a beautiful campus to walk through.  But A+ Dog Training also uses it because it offers dog lovers wide open sidewalks so that there’s space for the shy dogs to get comfortable around other dogs without being too close.

Our Community Pack Walks are open for everyone and will be held this Saturday, February 10th at 10:00 A.M.  For everyone’s safety, please let others know if your dog is not ready to be close to other dogs or humans yet.  Please also leave the retractable leashes at home and handle only one dog per person.

Let’s show some love to our dogs this month by walking them with other dog lovers!  We’ll see you at the corner of Monte Vista Ave. & Crowell Road at CSUS!

Ralphie’s Ready

Ralphie the Golden Retriever is excited about his Calm Canine package his owners bought for him from A+ Dog Training.  One of Ralphie’s goals is to stay inside the house even when the door is open.  We can’t wait to train him on that!  Welcome to our pack family, Ralphie!
