Don’t wait for your puppy to be four months old to show the world to them. The critical socialization period is usually around 3-12 weeks. You can take the puppy out after getting two shots. However, be safe where you take your pup. NO dog parks, walking in the pet stores or other high dog-traffic areas. Try walks in the neighborhood, visits to your friend’s home or even backyard play dates with well-socialized adult dogs.
