Our Labrador was once afraid to cross from our bedroom door to the office door. Now, he can go through all sorts of doors and while walking in a strip mall will try to go through the automatic doors that blow out their cool air conditioning.

Please bring bags for waste, a NON-retractable leash, and the entire family! Come and go as you please.
Also tomorrow is our Puppy Social at Taylor ER Veterinary in Turlock from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. The cost is $25 or free depending on private training program with A+ Dog Training or puppy package with Taylor ER.
Wren and her pup Jolly did an outstanding job at the 4H Dog Competition at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. They worked very hard on their obedience and showmanship with A+ Dog Training throughout the school year and we are so proud of them!

The class will be for five consecutive Tuesdays starting July 19th. 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. Cost is $120 per dog but may be waived as part of private training program. The class will be held at Four Seasons Park in Turlock, CA. All dogs must be current on all their vaccinations.
Holly and her family completed A+ Dog Training’s Elementary class and is ready to use their training over the Fourth of July Weekend.
Remember, walk your dog before they start to show signs of anxiety due to the fireworks. Use obedience to distract them from the noises and around people you are celebrating with. Don’t chase your dog if they try to run away. Use your Watch/Look, Stay, and Touch/Come commands calmly and sternly to lure your dog back to you.
A positive reinforcement does not always mean to feed your dog a lot of treats. Some dogs are ball driven, toy driven, or praise driven. Some dogs would even be happy just feeling you pat them on the back.
