A+ Dog Training Volunteers

tri-fold

This is a reminder for the parents of the Hughson School District that 4H sign-ups will be tomorrow, Wednesday, September 28th at 7:00 p.m.  It will be held at Hughson Elementary School.

A+ Dog Training has an Elementary class from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Four Seasons Park in Turlock.  So, Tom will continue teaching the class while GiGi attends the 4H Sign-ups in Hughson and answer any questions you or your children might have.

If your child attends the Hughson School District, encourage them to sign up with us to learn how to be a responsible dog owner.  We’ll train both your kids and your dog!

Pet Supplies Plus Giveaway

For Ammo’s social hour, we took him around Countryside Shopping Area before the games started.  He got a free toy and six pounds of free dog food (his choice!) at Pet Supplies Plus’ grand opening.  There was a lot of commotion going on in the store as he heard many squeaky toys and other dogs barking.  It was a fun time!

Then he walked around with Tom as I did a bit of grocery shopping at Safeway and stopped into Bath & Bodyworks.  Ammo made friends with two little boys that were waiting with their dad for their mom also at Bath & Bodyworks.

It is important that you socialize your dog as much as possible.  This doesn’t mean letting them run loose at the dog park while you chat or text on your phone.  So…where are you going to take your dog this week?

Fall is Here!

Fall Begins

A+ Dog Training would like to wish everyone a Happy Fall Season.  Today marks the beginning of fall and the dogs in our High School class seemed to show it!  It was a “ruff” time keeping the dogs focused while staying on a long leash.  There were children practicing for soccer, leaves blowing around, and the cool breeze bringing lots of smells to the Turlock park.  As we say farewell to summer and hello to the fall season, please keep A+ Dog Training in mind as your dog’s behavior changes with the change in schedules and routines at home.  We can help!

Big Dog in Little Bed

This is our dog, Ammo, visiting his nana.  My mother-in-law has a Westie and a little terrier.  Our 80 lb. Labrador seemed to be missing his big bed and tried to get comfortable in theirs!

As an A+ Lifetime client, you not only get training for the dog’s life, but your training can be at any location.  Ever wish your dog could be calm at your mother-in-law’s?  Want your dog to learn your mom’s house rules and obey?  We can help you!  Call A+ Dog Training at 209-985-7898.  We can put your mind at ease when your Nana dog-sits for you!

Dog Training and Training for Boxing

We are proud to have clients like Blanco’s owner Geno who runs Modesto Boxing Gym.  Outside of training him and his American Pitt, we came out to support his two fighters and watch him corner and win both bouts.  A+ Dog Training appreciates all of our clients that welcome us into their homes and make us feel like part of the family.  Congratulations, Geno, and Modesto Boxing Gym!

One Hour Group Club Host Needed

post-sept-15-2016

Because we aren’t holding any classes in November, we’d like to offer a limited number of people a Holiday Etiquette Workshop.  You will learn how to manage your dog when the doorbell rings, people come over, having dinner around the table, and being around people in the living room.

The cost is $25 per dog/person for the hour and $15 for the host.  If there are four or more dogs, the host receives this one hour training for FREE.  A+ Dog Training will supply everything.  All dogs will remain on leash the entire hour.

Now all we need is a host!  If you would like more information on how to host this workshop, please call Thomas Lee at 209-985-7898.

This is your opportunity to get one more training session in before the chaos of the holidays and company begins!
